Pooh sandwich bento and Happy New Year

Hi, hi, hi.. how was ur holiday? Mine, so great. Not because I go to a fantastic place or what, but because I can really-really enjoy my time on that holiday. I went to bookstore, bought a couple of book, and read it in the midnight, no need to worry about work tomorrow, haha!!

Beside that, I can play with my son all the time. We play soccer inside the house, and make some messy in the living room. And I think both of us really enjoy that time.

Ok back to business ;D My bento today is really a simple bento. I just take my son's chicken finger ;p and roll it with the bread. Not forget to put some lettuce inside. For the garnish, I cut the carrot into pooh shape. And I put the sauce in the food cup.

I think it will be my last post in this year. Hope all of us will be happy and full of love next year. Happy new Year everybody..

Macaroni Schotel

Hohoho.. my son got asleep early last night. So I have a time to make something in my kithcen. When I look my recipe folder (yeah, I have folder with a lot of recipe that I print from internet), and then I look my refrigerator, I think I can make Macaroni Schottel. I take the recipe from Mbak Vanny's blog. Actually she is my neighbour, I just have to walk 2 minutes to go to her house.

Back to recipe, I change all of bolognase souce ingredients with instant 4 tbsp bolognase souce + 1 can (120 g) corned beef + sliced of half yellow onion + 1 tbsp margarine. I'm a really a practical chef, haha..

In my case, I've got 8 personal cup from the recipe. I ate 1 cup last night and 1 cup in the morning. My hubby had 1 cup this morning. And I bring 3 cups for my mate in the office, hope they will like it..

My second award and a story..

Hi hi hi all.. i've got my second award from Angi. Really-really glad with this award. Because being a mother is really fun, right? (forget about changing a diaper and wake up in the midnight ;p). Thank you Angi for passing this award to me.. I love U full, hehe (it's a statement of one Indonesian artist).

Ok, back to business, really-really sorry that I can't update my blog. I really busy these weeks. You know, end of year is a busy time for people who working in a finance, so I dont have much time to update my blog.

What about in home? Ugh, my son's nanny is taking permit in these 2 weeks because her son having wedding ceremony. So when I wake up in the morning, I have to take care of my son, feeding him and etc. And I dont know why, in these two weeks my son always wake up when I wake up too. So I can't doing anything beside play with him. That's why I didn't make any bento.. T_T

But I have new project, hoho.. I made bento from feltl!! Yeah, I can do this in the night when my son has asleep. But it's not finish yet, so I can't show to you ;p Just enjoy my old project..

My First Award!!!

Hi hi hi.. I've got my first award. Thank you for Tata and Angi who giving me this award (yeah, I've got this award from 2 person). The rules of this award is so simple, state 7 things about yourself and pass it to 7 people. Ok, lets start:

1. I looooooooooooooooove to read. But since I've got a child, I just can read in the midnight T_T
2. I'm addicted to J-Drama. I think it has a good and story and not have a loooong episode.
3. I don't like grape fruit.
4. I'm a mom of two son, but my second son has passed away when he was born.
5. My obsession now is make a birthday cake for my boy's 2nd birthday in next May. So I have to learn about baking since now (because I can't baking at all!!!)
6. I'm an accountant, I think I'm good in manage my company's money, but why I'm not good in managing my own money..? (huhuhu, I can't help for not buying a cute stuff)
7. mmmm what else for the last... o, My favorite artist is the talented and beautiful Kate Winslet.

4 season bento

When I made this bento, I want to make bento which represent the seasons. So I choose something that can reprsent each season. So here it is:
- snowman to represent a winter
- chicken teriyaki to represent autumn (because the color is chocolate ;p)
- steamed potato to represent spring (I hope it look like flower :D)
- steamed carrot to represent summer

I'm very happy today is not cloudy so I can have enough light to take a picture.

I love u pooh

I made snack bento this morning. Honestly, I just want to eat chocolate (cha cha). But it's not good in a bento box, right? So I cut the bread into pooh face with my cutter, give a margarin, and toast it for a while. I add chocolate jam for the eyes and mouths. I made a love shape from sliced cheese. I think the result is not really bad ;D

Little dissapointed with the photo. It's a rainy season now, and cloudy this morning. So I can't get a good light.. But it's okay, hope tomorrow will be the sunny day because I have some idea to make bento again ;D

elephant sandwich

didn't have enough time today, so I just put my breakfast into the box and gave the cheese. Add the cheery tomatoes with food picks, and my bento are ready...

Sometimes I want to make a cute bento, but I have to get up earlier, oh nooooooo :oD So, I have to be satisfied with my simple bento *wink*

2 little boys

Always simply bento, because I don't have much time in the morning and honestly not have much creativity ;p This bento contain 2 rice ball, nugget, boiled veggies and sauce. I can't find any nori in my home town, so I used boiled carrot to make eyes and mouths. No time to make hair, so those kids are bald, that's why I called them: boy.

cute ghost for halloween

I made this bento because many people talk about halloween in my facebook on end of October. So I want to make something special on Halloween days. Because of not celebrating that Day, I choose to make Halloween bento.

Like usual, I don't have much time to make my bento (yes I make bento for myself, because my son only 1,5 y.o. and I think it's good practice until I can make cute bento for him). So I make the fried rice and add it with sliced cheese that I cut into ghost shape (just use my knife). I add the curly lettuce, nugget, boiled carrot and green bean.

Croquettes rice with grinded beef

To make a meal for my son (1,5 y) is a tricky job. Sometimes he run away when he saw me hold a spoon. But when I use my hand to feed him, he want to eat. So when I saw this recipe, I really want to make it, because I can hold the food by my hand. This recipe I’ve got from kid’s meal book which has the title Hidangan Batita Sehat dan Favorit 1-3 tahun and the author is Wied Harry Apriadji. So, here is the recipe:


· 50 gr rice

· 175 ml water

· ¼ tsp grated turmeric

· ¼ tsp salt

· 1 tbsp wheat flour

· 2 cloves red onion, slice

· 2 cloves garlic, slice

· 50 gr yellow onion, slice

· 100 gr grinded beef

· 50 gr stringbean, cut into very small pieces

· ½ tsp sugar

· ½ tsp salt

· 3 tbsp water

· 25 gr grated cheddar cheese

· (I added carrot for the veggies, but I don’t know the measurement. Just use my feeling)


· 50 gr wheat flour

· 1 egg, beat

· 50 gr bread crump

Directions (I made it with my modification):

1. Put the rice, water, grinded turmeric , and salt into magic jar. Turn it on. Until it cooked well, add the what flour, beat.

2. Stir fry the onion, garlic, and yellow onion. Add the meat, string bean and carrot, beat. Add the sugar, salt, and water, beat again until the veggies cooked well.

3. Add the veggies and cheddar into the rice.

4. Mould the rice with ball shape mould or another shape (you can mould it with your hand). Rolled it to the wheat flour, beaten egg and then to bread crump.

5. Store it in the refrigerator for one hour (or max 10 hours)

6. I made it in the night, so in the morning I just fry it. It is really save my time ;p
